Wildflowers of the Shire of Koorda

The wide diversity of flora in the Shire of Koorda makes for a wonderful wildflower hunt during the winter months. Orchids shelter in the wetter areas, while wattles, bottlebrush, and various types of cassias line the roadsides alongside the Shire's floral emblem, the Koorda Rose (Darwinia Rosea).
We invite you to come and explore the region and its wonderful colours in the wildflower season (July- September)!
